Generally I prefer playing with friends, and my best bud got his first girlfriend recently so he's AFK all the damn time

EVE is too hardcore for me

I should have loved it but something about it never grabbed me

solo Eve is boring af

My main beef with eve is that it lacks expressiveness in the controls

Drunk/high EVE doesn't seem palatable either

most fun I have now gaming are some persistent-y worlds in Arma III

1-2 two week server resets, so there is time for operational view of things, not just tactical

I never played Arma, but I used to play Day-Z

was fun as hell

It's defintely its own experience

I'm not sure if Rust pioneered it, but those games that do extended maps offer an experience you can't get otherwise, and because it resets often enough, not as stale as mmos

Weekly seems good, especially if you split it on weekend so you get a big crowd for beginning/ending scenarios
