but failed
it needed desperate reforms
Sad.
I miss the USSR
esepcially after andropov and chernenko
ruling for basically no time
pretty much most of Eastern Europe does too
And The former Republics in Central Asia
@!GoldenKingship! how can you be a ancap and a nationalist
There is lots of Stalin lovers in east Europe
eventually everbody will be on something resembling nordic model, hopefully without the silly desire to run balanced budgets
yes
Yeah i see why. Stalin was a Staunch Democrat
The usually smart Swedes can't seem to figure that part out
Stalin was a democrat
he voted for hillary
Also some of the very successful 'capitalist' countries are able to 'cheat' because of a massive trade surplus
naturally everybody can't do that
You can make many mistakes if you are able to do that
Nostalgia
yes
Stalin was a true believer in his cause, industrializing 'the East' under a Communist regime
from what I talked with my parents
and grandparents
people especially miss the stability
Americans have a cartoon view of Stalin so it's hard to talk to them about him
Holodomor didn't exist
and the fact that you were basically guarenteed a job
It wasn't intentionally
stalin was a horrible human being but he did also prepare the country for winning ww2
and the nazis tried to kill litreally all slavs
Stalin had legit beefs witht he Kulaks, etc
He wasn't crazy
Stalin did succeed at the rapid industrialization of the Union
he was horrible but the things he did were necessary
the nazis for example planned to destroy saint petersburg
He felt that if he failed, his people were doomed
flatten moscow and turn it into a lake
the purge was necessary
