I will be extremely surprised if he gets any real punishment. Not because he doesn't deserve it, but because I'm used to seeing the rich and powerful have immunity. And in the case of Trump, there is a large subset of Democrats who think that REALLY going after Trump (jail, etc) is some kind of "political suicide" - same reason the police isn't currently knocking down the doors of those who are BLATANTLY spitting in the face of congress and defying orders to produce documents, etc. I suppose a big part of the problem is that he is currently in office - plus there's a senate majority (as well as Wonderful Patriotic Americans like Moscow Mitch), which makes power moves difficult. Once he's out of office...maybe...but I have a feeling everyone is just going to want to "move on".
