None of those existed when Trump was first informed on the virus 3-4 months ago

Trump heard of the virus at the end of Dec, nobody knew how bad it would spread later on in Jan

He straight up ignored his health officials for the whole of January

He also declared a public health emergency too

Not only that, he did these things before most countries.

So by your logic every other country did badly.

Well, if he didn't, that would cause his approval to downfall like crazy. None of the stuff he did was because of the seriousness of the virus, he did it to please the voters and rally them to his side. Which he failed for most people, obviously since the response was WAY too slow.
