2020-02-12 21:19:08 UTC

if you dont give a fuck and you're going in full congolese guerrilla mode just use a vice and a handdrill

2020-02-12 21:19:29 UTC

Or a knife and a bamboo yeet cannon

2020-02-12 21:20:27 UTC

2020-02-12 21:20:37 UTC

2020-02-17 17:25:05 UTC

2020-02-17 18:17:11 UTC

2020-02-17 18:17:20 UTC

Best bang for your buck

2020-02-17 23:15:34 UTC

looks good thank you

2020-02-18 03:36:51 UTC

wranglestar on YouTube is a pretty good resource, he does a lot of axe and outdoor/off the grid equipment reviews

2020-02-18 03:43:05 UTC

I'll check it out tomorrow

2020-02-18 19:49:53 UTC

are there any wood handle hatchet where its made so that the head doesnt fall off while you use it

2020-02-18 19:50:24 UTC

Had this happen few times with old ones and you can get seriously hurt probably

2020-02-18 19:50:34 UTC

anyways its annoying

2020-02-18 19:50:44 UTC

yeah that is dangerous

2020-02-18 19:51:37 UTC

you need to either set your handle by hitting the top of it so it kinda splays out over the actual ax-head and keeps it in place

2020-02-18 19:51:45 UTC

or if it's too far gone just get a new handle

2020-02-18 19:52:08 UTC

the latter of which though isn't something I've had to do yet

2020-02-18 19:52:54 UTC

Yeah hitting it fixes them temporarily

2020-02-18 19:53:04 UTC

still hard to trust it

2020-02-18 19:55:01 UTC

Use the ring-style wedge instead of the flat plate.

2020-02-18 19:56:11 UTC

Seat the handle 1/8" below the top of the axe head, coat the ring wedge in epoxy, seat it, then fill the 1/8' area with epoxy.

2020-02-18 19:56:13 UTC

holy shit that looks wicked

2020-02-18 19:59:42 UTC

Hmm nice

2020-02-20 20:37:19 UTC

is this decent?

2020-02-20 20:39:50 UTC

Looks very tacticool, you might draw some attention especially if you get any color but black

2020-02-20 20:40:07 UTC

Plus there's no hip straps so all that weight is gonna be on your shoulders

2020-02-20 20:40:17 UTC

Hang on a sec I'll post one I've had my eye on

2020-02-20 20:41:01 UTC

hip strap?

2020-02-20 20:41:13 UTC

ahh

2020-02-20 20:41:20 UTC

never saw it on a backpack before

2020-02-20 20:41:39 UTC

Hiking and military backpacks have straps that buckle around your waist/hips to more evenly distribute the weight inside it
