I live in the boonies so camo *everything* is normal
i want to wear digital camo around
but id be pushing it too far
That's what I carry every day to/from work
looks comfy
i currently only have one shitty backpack i bought 3 years back
its starting to get holes and looks fucked up
This is my camping/bug out bag. Its the 2010 model in FDE, so it looks a little different. https://www.camelbak.com/en/packs/M01024--2019_MilSpec_HAWG_Hydration_Pack?color=bd80dd0d597a486395d6339327546e6e
colours look kinda bad imo
anyone know of good places to find 40mm filters in the USA. looking for specifically particulate filters either p3, p99 or p100. This is what im looking at but it only sells in the UK.
anyone have any experience with bivy bags? thinking of getting one with a mesh fly <:apuyes:673419223715807259>
not particularly, compact hammocks are also neat, whatever keeps you dry, warm and off the ground
I'm thinking my /out/ setup will involve a hammock
Rain fly and bug net are essential though
i read bandanas as bananas
Both are necessary
yes
@Mr. Verboten post in <#673081851467792397>, will pin
My 'Get Home Bag' is this:
backpack vs slingbag, which is better for which?
backpack
military backpacks are kino and efficient
Depends on what you're doing. I've used both extensively. I use a sling bag when I need quick access to gear and/or want to stay fast and light.
sling bags are good for gear
anyways, have both at your disposal if you're going to bug out
I can swing the sling bag to the front for climbing through fences, climbing trees, hiding in ditches (exactly what I'll be doing while trying to 'get home'), all without taking it off.
yeah
are waterproof matches a good investment?
Always
alright
a 35L backpack?
military of course
I keep three forms of firestarting in my bag. If one goes down, you're still good. i keep waterproof matches, a lighter, and a firesteel.
firesteels are good
I'm going to buy my gear progressively
