did you know that you could resight it

because originally

mosins were made peasant proof

so that you didnt need to use the adjustable view

soviet soldiers were trained to aim at the belt buckle

so you can resight it using a hammer and a file

or buy a special tool made for the mosin that costs like 20 bucks

I used my mosins for gunsmithing practice

but still need the file to file the elevation sight thing

Well most infantry mosins have their globes adjusted left because it was originally sighted in with the bayonet attachted

Rear sight is pinned and soldered. You can drift the pin out, then use a torch to heat the rear sight and it will fall right off

If you just want a badass milsurp with a mannlicher stock, go Ishapore 2A1 over the mosin.

Its basically a no3 SMLE chambered in 7.62x51
