so that you didnt need to use the adjustable view
soviet soldiers were trained to aim at the belt buckle
so you can resight it using a hammer and a file
or buy a special tool made for the mosin that costs like 20 bucks
I used my mosins for gunsmithing practice
but still need the file to file the elevation sight thing
i can find you the vid if you want
Well most infantry mosins have their globes adjusted left because it was originally sighted in with the bayonet attachted
here
ye
Rear sight is pinned and soldered. You can drift the pin out, then use a torch to heat the rear sight and it will fall right off
it was made to be shot with the bayonet
no i meant front sight
ah
i just dont know the exact terms in english
I wanna put one of those ndt scopes on mine
but i know you can also buy mojo sights
apparently rly good sights
unfortunatly they dont ship to europe
Its basically a no3 SMLE chambered in 7.62x51
I'll have to check that out
looks nice but still
is it legal in france
lemme see
ye 700 euros
Once I get this thing sighted in I think ill mount a period scope on there
i cant buy it
not only because there are no places to buy it
Well French resistance used them lol
What region of the states are you in Mosin? I traded an FEG HiPower for one a few years ago. I'm all of $300 into it and its a tack driver.
but also because its fucking expensive kek
if i could
i would buy an SKS
Southeast
reliable, easy cartridge
only problem
its not as easy to get as a mosin
since its a semi auto
