Id love to see a cross-faith debate
You wouldn't have faith if you were able to undisputably prove a fact
You'd just know it's true no need for faith
You can debate without certainty
Then i told them that they just need to go with what appeals to them the most
Why?
Why not write your own religion that really appeals maximally?
Why buy safeway cupcakes when you can bake better?
Well that question has been asked and the answer is a but complicated
It's about how humans changed as time went on
Mythologies that had a lot of gods to worship always had this bleak image
Usually ending with a fight between gods and the end of the world but....
Unlike Christianity or Islam it seemed like there was no true salvation in those religions
Basically making worshiping those deities pointless
Boo
Naw
That isnt true nor an answer
Okay fine let me give a simpler answer
But there are no answers in religion
Too many gods made things confusing
Monothestic religion existed before christianity
And died
And salvation definitely
And arguably christianity it not monotheistic
They did but i was saying that it's a bit complicated
Horny trinity
I dont meed a history primer on the evolution of polytheistic religions in the middle east
I need to know why people think ghosts are real
Oh that's easy for me to answer
Validatiom that they won't cease to exist and that their efforts in life won't be wasted
Why Bob thinks jesus rose from the grave but sally thinks muhhamad is the final prophet
What evidence is there from one to another?
You belive in big spooky spirits, ok. Why this one in particular vs that one?
That is confusing but it seems to me that it is more of a personal opinion than any good reason
I have a friend who's into Christianity but he read all the holy books in Islam and Jewish as well
Told me that Christianity appealed to him more

It was the vaguest answer i ever got
All the holy books...
All of them
