here's one of my problems with religous people
Why does worshipping god take priority over everything else?
I mean, if you believe in an eternal afterlife, it seems like the most important thing to make sure you're not on the "naughty list", right?
But the hypocrisy is everywhere.
One blatant one that I've never really been able to put to rest - why do they mourn their dead?
Well okay but...why would god put you in the naughty list if you don't worship them?
Like, if you KNOW your kids are going to heaven
Why is it so bad for them to die in a school shooting?
Wouldn't that make god a pest
See why is hurting god worse than hurting fellow humans?

I'd think that a true loving god would only care about whether or not you hurt other human beings for selfish and evil reasons

And of course, WHY have all of this suffering and awfulness in the world in the first place?

The whole idea is full of holes. Like, if you HAVE to make something up to "explain the unexplainable", there are more...hmm I don't necessarily want to say "logical" - but more "believable" alternatives
Aliens, simulations, whatever
All of it makes a bunch more sense than monotheistic religions.
Really i just wish religious people would just stick to worshipping god instead of trying to validate their own religious beliefs
I wish they would learn logic and reasoning power, and apply it to their belief systems
