hi, @Deleted User your definition of feminism is wrong. the definition of the movement itself is equality for BOTH genders, and the reason it may be geared more towards women is because it's purpose is/was to raise women up to the same level of respect men have. now, the thing you CAN disagree on is that woman are already more or less respected the same as men, and although i don't agree, that is more reasonable to think than thinking about feminism as misandry
feminism is SUPPOSED to be equality, but yeah there are quite a lot of people who think its just for women, and that's WRONG. these people are third-wave feminists
feminism was for equality back in the 60s 70s etc
don't confuse third wave feminists with intersectional
but many agree that feminism has become something new
i've seen some feminists claim they want to put all men in concentration camps
the concept of feminism has always existed, it's just that it's now been given a name, and more people are learning about it
those people ARE NOT FEMINISTS
aLl MeN aRe TrAsH
but they call themselves feminists
GG @thomas the choo choo tree, you just advanced to level 1!
^
yeah they do, but according to the DEFINITION they aren't
just cause someone calls themselves smth doesn't mean they are that
they use feminism as an excuse for misandry and that's wrong
buzzfeed feminists
arent feminists
yeah
lmao
buzzfeed
manspreading
mansplaining ksksndkjs
how do you know if someone is mansplaining they might just be shit at explaining
the question i have is
yeah?
why is mansplaining a thing but womansplaining isnt
hmm
a recent example of mansplaining would be trying to get a ban on abortion, give me an example of womansplaining
Manspreading
lmao
lmao i think the other 'feminists' make a bigger deal out of that than it is
i mean taking up more than one seat when you don't have to is a dick move, but i dont really think its related to gender
but i mean yeah ig womansplaining is a thing
womanspreading
is also a thing
yeah
it is less talked about, and im not saying that's right, but mansplaining is talked abt a lot bc mostly men are in positions of authority (like the gov) and they hold the right to make decisions on things like abortion bans
not saying that men in power is bad; i think people should be picked to be in positions based on their abilities, and i don't think diversity hiring should be the reason people get chosen for a job
why i have an issue with manspreading
