So all property taxes have to be collected by the State and redistributed among the schools with poorer schools receiving more of the portion
where im at right now , its a super small town , i found it strange the courses they had , it was like farming , and hunting ..and stuff like that , i didnt go to this high school but i thought that was cool , cus they are focused on stuff that is important in the area , bigger schools i think are just about pumping numbers
kinda off subject lol
and that's the exact problem
I would have loved to learn hunting and farming in high school
Home Economics
anything applicable
if I was born a decade earlier, I would have access to car workshop
But nowadays, schools are trying to teach about muh gender spectrums, embrace the LGBT studies
Something you may not even apply to yourself at all
it makes complete sense how high school students in the '50s and '60s were able to support a family
It's because they weren't forced to learn about useless subjects and were able to take on life skills
heck yeahh
There was even a class called Personal Accounting
Where your final was basically filing your taxes(not your taxes, but they would give you a scenario of a future person and you would pretend to file your taxes for them where they scored you based on how accurate you were able to get your tax refund/debt to)
And all you did was learn how to manage your finances and avoid debt
thats insane
what
the
heck
who knows
but plz let's take african american study
let's learn how the african americans were oppressed
im sure this is very practical when I am starving to death and unable to explain why I am in so much debt
It's disgusting that even colleges do this
Every major in a California College (UC or CSU) requires you to take at least 2 diversity classes (ex. gender study, lgbt study, race study, culture study)
And no, language class isn't a diversity class.
student debt is backed by the goverment ... colleges are gonna keep handing out debt ...allll ...day ...long.
and raising prices
student debt isnt bad
until you realize you cant do shit with your major
OR you refuse to do something with your major
Example is trying to major in LGBT Studies
nothing wrong with that
just dont expect to be a teacher with it because I'm sure others are trying to do so
you can apply your major in business marketing however and make good money if you do the right choices
my cousin went for some kind of music degree.... like dude... we live in the country .... he works at a restruant cook right now
The art degrees feel flawed in a sense
If you were already good in the first place
alot of them are
you dont need the degree because you can make money off your skill
