I mean I'm concerned because of misdiagnosis and the act of putting children on potentially life destroying drugs. Also because I'm an empathetic person that doesnt like the idea of people killing themselves. I want the largest level of care and treatment to be in regard to that and transitioning isn't that.

Not every trans is going to do that, not every trans Is gonna transition by surgery.

There is a huge emphasis on fully transitioning

And I think that's very toxic to people that genuinely need help dealing with body dysmorphia, it may be that there are two seperate conditions that have two seperate treatments and their only being diagnosed and treated as one condition. That's a possibility for certain but the one thing I know is that doctors are pushing life altering surgery without a full understanding of the condition theyre trying to treat

@Isaac i agree, it may be "just a phase" when you're a teenager. But that doesn't mean to not respect their pronouns and not let them dress how they want. If for years you know that you're transgender, as soon as you turn 18 you should have the right to go on hormones
