the main reason i waste time on discord is because there's so much misinformation on how the world works out there and it is systematically perpetuated through both the media and actual educational institutions. In debate format, like on discord, the narrative *is* shaped by people with the most persuasive arguments, and i believe most *trendsetters* in these forums are the people who *have* done the study in their fields, because they're the most likely people to have the persuasive arguments since they're drawn from expertise. But, given in the economic domain, *almost anyone officially trained is armed with mostly false theories and understandings of how the world works*, the information being spread is going to be *completely dodgy*, and in the absence of anyone challenging these demonstrably false perspectives, harmful misinformation will be spread. So i kind of feel an urgency to push back against this

it does cause stress to do this though

so im starting withdraw from it

the stress being bad for my health

So far you haven’t provided anything that would debunk s/d curves. Yes, I have tried to remain civil, and you have made that difficult. I mean this as no ad hominem- you seem not to understand some fundamental things about what supply and demand curves represent. You’ve presented 2 actual sources so far, one of which is an individual labor curve that doesn’t apply, because it’s possible the hire more people. The other is a set of production curves for individual firms, that aggregate to a positive sloping supply curve.

I honestly do not know whether you are a. Willfully obstinate out of pride
b. Don’t understand the basics, or
c. Are just trolling

Please answer my question. It is a reasonable question, and one that is core to your attacks on economic orthodoxy. If you can’t answer it, you may have to re-examine your theory, even if your pride won’t let you.
