And you’re claiming that his personal beliefs somehow discount the actions of the party

2019-10-29 15:11:50 UTC

I think to be a 'fascist' you have to have the cynacism too, or you are just a sucker

2019-10-29 15:11:53 UTC

Nazi Germany was statist because the state upheld the importance of race (the German people being aryans and such). The state acted as an authority figure for Nazi ideology. Tell me how this relates to Mussolini.

2019-10-29 15:12:06 UTC

no the actions of the party were reprehensible, it doesnt mean they were genuine nazis

2019-10-29 15:12:08 UTC

I don’t care if Hitler loves shrimp, loving shrimp is not core to the Nazi ideology

2019-10-29 15:12:50 UTC

And I don’t care if he personally hated geometric shapes on flags, that doesn’t make the flag not a swastika

2019-10-29 15:12:59 UTC

if you put a gun to my head and say "if you dont kill a jew, i will kill you"

am i a nazi for killing the jew?

2019-10-29 15:13:22 UTC

If you’re the head of a nation? Yes.

2019-10-29 15:13:36 UTC

thats a fallacy ladies and gentlemen

2019-10-29 15:13:43 UTC

How is that fallacious?

2019-10-29 15:14:03 UTC

because i dont believe that jews are scum, im only killing the jew because i have to for my own survival

2019-10-29 15:14:09 UTC

jews are normal people

2019-10-29 15:14:11 UTC

just like me

2019-10-29 15:14:21 UTC

but ill kill the jew for my own survival

2019-10-29 15:14:29 UTC

You can say the same thing about an SS officer

2019-10-29 15:14:32 UTC

Well, how about the other question, what concept did they SHARE and how many are necessary to be fascist?

2019-10-29 15:14:32 UTC

He’s still a Nazi

2019-10-29 15:14:37 UTC

not necessarily

2019-10-29 15:14:42 UTC

Both had 'living space' like ideologies

2019-10-29 15:14:47 UTC

Well we’re talking about the difference between fascist and Nazi

2019-10-29 15:14:51 UTC

What makes someone a nazi?

2019-10-29 15:14:51 UTC

which one way or another will have a racial implication

2019-10-29 15:14:58 UTC

its about concept and ideology, not actions

2019-10-29 15:14:58 UTC

I don’t think anyone’s questioning whether they were fascist

2019-10-29 15:15:02 UTC

Nazi is a brand name, a certain version of 'fascism'

2019-10-29 15:15:03 UTC

youre making a ridiculous conflation

2019-10-29 15:15:15 UTC

Between what and what

2019-10-29 15:15:20 UTC

we use nazi like we use 'coke' to refer to any cola sometimes, but not quite the same thing

2019-10-29 15:15:21 UTC

between an action and an ideology

2019-10-29 15:15:23 UTC

Would it be believing in Hitler's fairytale of Germans being aryans?

2019-10-29 15:15:26 UTC

Italian fascism and German fascism?

2019-10-29 15:15:29 UTC

killing a jew doesnt make me a nazi

2019-10-29 15:15:39 UTC

Being in the SS does

2019-10-29 15:15:47 UTC

You don't have to believe in the fairy tale to be a nazi. SPREADING the fairytale makes you a nazi

2019-10-29 15:15:48 UTC

depends why theyre in the SS

2019-10-29 15:15:50 UTC

The SS doesn't exist anymore.

2019-10-29 15:15:52 UTC

Would you agree with that?

2019-10-29 15:15:54 UTC

trying to get others to believe in it makes you a nazi

2019-10-29 15:15:57 UTC

No, it doesn’t

2019-10-29 15:16:08 UTC

So what makes someone a nazi now?

2019-10-29 15:16:17 UTC

Fascism is a tool to get power, not really a philosophy on its own
