Socialism is a terrible Economic policy.

Tell us more

@Dr.Cosby No it is not a terrible Economic Policy?

When you take from the productive so that you can give to the unproductive, you cause 'real inflation'. When you cause real inflation you, increace scarcity and push people into poverty. When you push people into poverty, they are not productive. When they are not productive, they are given handouts from those who are productive. This increases 'real inflation', and that increases scarcity. More people are them forced into poverty, and the cycle continues.

Our Economic issues are caused by Socialist policies.

2019-12-15 00:35:30 UTC

Our economic issues are definitely not caused by Socialist policies, that's silly lol

2019-12-15 00:38:41 UTC

And your productivity argument is bad, because "productivity" by itself is not a good deciding factor when choosing how much people deserve to be compensated. Sheer "productivity" doesn't account for a multitude of factors. And is the Walmart CEO really thousands of times more "productive" than the Walmart employees working at your local store?

2019-12-15 00:41:09 UTC

Without socialist policies, wealth inequality would be even more out of control than it already is. And without programs like welfare and medicare... we'd really be hanging people out to dry.

2019-12-15 00:45:39 UTC

Let me put it this way: if your primary concern is making the most money (or accomplishing the most "work"), maybe there's a point to be made about socialism causing lower profits. But socialism helps common people. Expendable employees in dangerous work environments also save money - but we have (often expensive) safety measures. Because people's wellbeing is important too.

@Dr.Go Bus#1987 You're litterally making the Marxist argument, and you think I'm being silly...

You're defending Socialism without even questioning the inevitable consequences and encumbersome burdens. The real exotential threats to our entire economy are created by Socialist policies.

You are, in effect, arguing, "Monopolies are bad; therefore we should have a megalithic state ran Monopoly".

You are Pro-Socialism, so changing your mind will be impossible... but if you actually look at the facts, Socialism is a disaster 100% of the time.

2019-12-15 05:32:41 UTC

I'm not proposing 100% Socialism - Capitalism is very good too, but there needs to be a balance.Yes, there are definitely pitfalls with pure socialism (communism?)

2019-12-15 05:32:55 UTC

Competition is good

2019-12-15 05:33:19 UTC

Basically, socialism is for ensuring that everyone has a dignified standard of living

2019-12-15 05:33:30 UTC

The capitalism helps push forward innovation and all the other good stuff

2019-12-15 06:41:18 UTC

Yea listen pal it's cool that you're throwing around these cute right wing terms that don't really have any meaning behind them but it's pretty obvious to me that you don't know what Socialism and the transition to Communism is or class struggle or imperialism or labour value or productive value or social democracy or literally anything about Marxist theory to be over here talking like an expert on the subject matter.
And I swear if you say 'I've read the Communist Manifesto' then I'll slap you. It's like reading a brochure about neurology and then calling yourself a doctor.
I can make vague claims with no context too like this. 100% of the times Capitalism has caused a tragedy.

2019-12-15 07:31:26 UTC

What do you propose @Boo ?

2019-12-15 07:39:15 UTC

Jesus, I'm growing a beard over here

2019-12-15 07:39:24 UTC

Me? I propose a Socialist revolution and to create an economic system that operates under collectivisation and cooperation where the primary goal is to meet the demands and needs of the people and not profit as the primary goal. The emancipation of the oppressed and exploited and internationalism rather than nationalism or fascism. However, while Socialist revolution is inevitable, right now the material conditions for it is not yet provided.

2019-12-15 07:39:43 UTC

So all I can say right now is buckle up for the next few years

2019-12-15 07:39:48 UTC

It's gonna suck

2019-12-15 07:43:50 UTC

I see, so you're retarded then

2019-12-15 07:44:28 UTC

Socialists are hilarious

2019-12-15 07:44:37 UTC

so naive and idealistic

2019-12-15 07:44:38 UTC

Oh no an ad hominen rather than an actual refute

2019-12-15 07:44:56 UTC

why would I bother refuting someone who lives in fantasy land?

2019-12-15 07:45:16 UTC

clearly you don't take reality into your calculations

2019-12-15 07:45:57 UTC

run along to your ANTIFA meeting

2019-12-15 07:46:00 UTC

Yea sure it's totally because you are big brain and it's not because you have anything good to say

2019-12-15 07:46:47 UTC

Do you guys practice "bike lock over the head from the cover of a large crowd" maneuvers?

2019-12-15 07:47:05 UTC

Is that the socialist revolution you're talking about?

2019-12-15 07:47:35 UTC

If it's for a Fascist then sure but I wouldn't call ANTIFA a Socialism movement

2019-12-15 07:47:46 UTC

Just shows how ignorant you are

2019-12-15 07:48:06 UTC

cowards who live in reality vacuums

2019-12-15 07:48:52 UTC

Oh please these are just words with no meaning. I can call you a coward for inaction
