Well, not specifically a fact, but Japan has been very slow to actually do anything about the virus, and Im worried its going to be too late.
Their problem is that they arent testing enough people overall, so their numbers look really low.
Also, way too many people that COULd work from home, are not because the companies are making them come in.
Even more hilariously, some companies that are, are obligating workers to wear a full suit and company lanyard at home, despite not having any video conferences.
There is a press conference coming in at 8pm JPT that will be announcing more actions to do, but public confidence has dropped very low.
To even further add to the issue, the economic survival of japan was already relying on stimulus package that at best, was benign. The Olympics were supposed to instigate more stimulus. SO much was relying on it, that they waited until other countries started cancelling coming in to cancel it.
Only time will tell whether Japan will survive through this.
Even rebates apparently? But Japan has like. Nothing at all yet. Plans for something around 100,000 yen (About 1000 USD) of help, which while that does go further than in the US, is laughable.
I dont know if Malaysia will be able to get through well either. Im worried that Malaysia may have a more severe problem if the impact of the virus is the same

The MCO is really bringing all kinds of crime down thankfully, but thats because thers not enough people outside to do crime to.
However, Id say digital crime might spike alot.
Have been seeing many reports of malicious links through phones and email claiming corona-related information, cures, etc
But Malaysian people are smart, so id hardly think theyd fall for it lmao

And that tells you if the patient died, how old the patient was, and their sex?

This one only reports on cases of total confirmed, recovered, Deaths, per country.
Countries with bigger cases have regional separation if you click on it.
Not anything I know of about gender or age. If I find it, Ill let you know.
Its also super actively updated because of where it pulls it's data
