@edgyusername69 basically, it's a Ukrainian made fps that takes place in Chernobyl after an event created powerful materials called artifacts that give you special abilities, and a whole community of people called "stalkers" move in and basically make a living travelling into the zone and retrieving them. The game has a good storyline that I won't bother spoiling, but it's also known for being notoriously buggy, glitchy, and in general just a total fuckin' meme of a game. It garnered a substantially sized cult following and is now a popular meme on 4chan's /k/ board, albeit a really old one.

Stalker is a ukranian shooter with light rpg elements made by Ukrainians. It takes place after a secind disaster at Chernobyl, creating the mysterious zone where artifacts of power, and a device that grants whishes lays
