Most states just give their whole EC vote to whoever wins the popular vote statewide. Nebraska and Maine are the only ones who apportion proportionally

However, those 12 states passed laws giving their EC votes to whoever wins the national popular vote, which basically tells their constituents to go fuck themselves

So when Trump wins the popular vote after Biden shits the bed this year, you're gonna see a backpedal so fast you'd swear they're time traveling

The key is to hold their feet to the fire and shout "NO TAKE-BACKSIES!!" while trying your best not to burst a blood vessel laughing
