I hate when people downplay mistakes by the current administration. That makes them no better than the communists who downplay the historic failures of their ideology.

And not just boycott, but eventually embargo. Start off with propaganda to shame Chinese products, slowly introduce tariffs, then introduce punitive tax for distributing Chinese products, and finally, full embargo.
