2020-03-11 19:30:59 UTC

But his workplace democracy laws are

2020-03-11 19:31:00 UTC

Border security is a legitimate function of the federal government

2020-03-11 19:31:15 UTC

So is the health of the people

2020-03-11 19:31:28 UTC

2020-03-11 19:32:36 UTC

Well workplace democracy on its own isn’t socialism. If that’s what you’re implying

2020-03-11 19:33:45 UTC

Workers control of the MoP

2020-03-11 19:34:11 UTC

The solid definition of socialism is really vague but that tracks to me

2020-03-11 19:35:15 UTC

thats because socialism is vague. its an empty term in general.

The best definition I have is that it's when control or ownership of the means of production is in some fashion redistributed to the workers or public

2020-03-11 19:37:53 UTC

when people say redistributed to the public, that typically means it becomes a public good. in other words, owned by the government in some way. if the workers actually owned part of a company, then it would just be equity.

2020-03-11 19:38:13 UTC

You're describing state socialism

2020-03-11 19:38:29 UTC

Democratic socialism is large-scale equity

2020-03-11 19:40:58 UTC

Can't wait to see Bernie and Biden speak demented gibberish in their 1-on-1 "debate"

2020-03-11 19:41:10 UTC

Businesses and industries owned by the state or with cooperatives is socialism

2020-03-11 19:41:32 UTC

Bernie is coherent, Biden isn't

2020-03-11 19:41:49 UTC

its still a completely empty way to phrase it. the democratic peoples republic of korea is hardly democratic.

2020-03-11 19:41:58 UTC

Bernie can hardly maintain a single train of thought

2020-03-11 19:42:11 UTC

Yeah, I don't know what point you're making with that though @saturn broker

2020-03-11 19:42:19 UTC

Plus he think it's a sin to be white.

2020-03-11 19:42:20 UTC

you know the mods are not going to let you stay here with a name like that

2020-03-11 19:42:29 UTC

@I-Hate-black-people nice strawman

2020-03-11 19:42:36 UTC

Ugh. How do I change it?

2020-03-11 19:42:51 UTC

I hate black culture

2020-03-11 19:42:51 UTC

@LC isn't your pfp the patriot front

2020-03-11 19:43:07 UTC

Or some equivalent org

2020-03-11 19:43:09 UTC

i don't know what "patriot front" means

2020-03-11 19:43:12 UTC

I'm not racist, but Valid you get my point.

2020-03-11 19:43:29 UTC

They commit 50% of all crimes in the US

2020-03-11 19:43:48 UTC

I don't hate black people, just their culture. Fatherhood is important, as is following the law, working hard, intelligence, and being on-time

2020-03-11 19:43:50 UTC

Yet only 10% of the population.

2020-03-11 19:44:00 UTC

no. not valid. I don't like racism, and it does not reflect conservative values. Black people are welcome in the Republican party, unconditionally.

2020-03-11 19:44:07 UTC

In spite of being 14% of the population...

2020-03-11 19:44:21 UTC

Sure, 14%. Still a puny minority committing a massive majority of crimes
