The Droplets!
Viktor Orban literally passed a bill in Hungarian govt. named the "Enabling Act", aptly named after Hitler's own "Enabling Act" passed in 1933. Viktor Orban is based though, so it's cool.
It's time, authoritarian Conservatives are rising up.
Dems Are Holding up Emergency Measures over Tax Credits for Solar Panels
**GREEN FLU DEAL**
Hitler was a socialist...
Woah woah woah, we’re talking about **democratic** socialism here.
"We know you're all losing your jobs, but instead of helping you and maybe corporations at the same time, we're instead sacrificing you to hurt the economy more by punishing corporations for existing."
If you took a survey right now and asked “do you give a fuck about solar panels?” Right now, I bet 90% of people would be mad you breathed on them to ask them it
This a bottom-up recession that was started from workers not being able to access their job.
So, we should be giving more relief to workers, especially those affected.
It’s top down, because one day god said you can’t go to work for 5 months
At the same time, we should give stimulus to some corporations, but we should demand they pull out of outsourcing, and limit stock buybacks until 4 years later.
The bill Democrats proposed was ridiculous, the bill Republicans proposed was okay, but it can be improved.
Yes but the republican point is time is more important than perfection
They’re trying to roll out some money before bills get collected next month.
Exactly, which is why I hate democracy.
Because you can get near-perfection in a short amount of time without voting on it, or some other silly nonsense.
I’m 100% convinced the country is inevitably doomed
If you cut all non-social program spending, 95% of the revenue or more would still get spent
How is everybody?
“It’s not the social security”
Fabulous
@lima429 found you
Social spending is partly a budget issue, because we actively give out assistance to moral degenerates. However, it's also because of low birth-rates.
Moral degenerates. =/
An older population is more expensive to maintain, and the less young people, the smaller the tax base.
Social Security is FDR’s curse
330 million people live in United States
Wait FDR did the New Deal correct?
I think it's more like public assistance usually acts as a bandaid rather than help with the real issue. People who need it aren't generally moral degenerates.
1930s during The Great Depression
Social security decreased elderly poverty by a huge percent, but it was meant for a country which is young.

ur mom
Oi @Pytokonda 🐏 they have bollocksed up general, bollocksed it right up
The problem with social security is, it’s not a bank deposit, it’s a tax on the young
You never see the money you put into it and it’s only functional with an infinitely growing population
