but usually it seems like people only measure it one side of the bar
well yeah, you're not gonna have a plate on one side and none on the other
1 plate would be 1 on either side, 2 is 2 on both sides etc
It would make more sense for fitness and nutrition to be one thing and outdoors to be seperate
