It's bullshit though, 3D printed guns won't allow you to be able to defend yourself. They tend to break and fall apart after the first shot, and it probably will still be considered illegal anyways, not to mention you can't print ammunition, so might as well just be in possession of a proper illegal firearm then. 😑

Not an avid follower of molyneux, but watched a good number of his vids, I don't get cult vibes from him at all. He just has an opinion and uses facts and statistics as variables for his reasoning. That's not exactly cultist behaviour. He seems pro Christian, but by no means a preacher at all, just mostly agreeing with the traditions and ideas. So I think that was maybe more a smear than anything else.

But that said, be careful with labels like that, because if you are willing to accept the possibility without any reason, then you only sabotage your perception with doubts, on a baseless label. Molyneux is not a cultist by any reasonable standard, if he is to be labelled that for simply wanting a following on YouTube and patron support, then every other YouTuber following that very standard practice is a cultist lol. As for tweaking facts, you would need to prove that, and prove that it was deliberate on his part to stray from the source. He tends to make his sources available, and sticks with the source material he provides.

I think it's bad form to allow others to tell you what to think or even presume, especially of someone else and their work. We should be able to reason and judge for ourselves without having someone do it for us. I don't trust people that want to do things for us, even if it's claimed to be with good intentions, because I know very well that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Don't be an NPC lol. Find a means of reasoning that works reliably for you, that you've tested and has not failed you, and stick with that, and just beware of others that have your best interest in mind.

Yeah on what level are facts being tweaked though, molyneux isn't doing the study himself, but rather reporting on the information he comes across. So he is only human like anyone else, but until he is caught deliberately fixing facts, I'm hesitant to accuse him of anything. I've seen him adjust his opinions to corrections, so I don't deny that he gets things wrong sometimes. But yeah anyways. Let's be careful
