Problem as I see it is that if you think people are inherently good, then people are inherently flawless. We already saw the result of the experiment on this with that couple that went cycling in the middle east and got wrecked by some really terrible people people. Bleh, point really is that people dont consider the need to improve if they think they are inherently good, then they only compete with others to show how good they are (virtue signalling), but if you accept to be a sinner inherently, then there is always room to improve yourself.
