Also, do MOST, if not all workouts (except running) in 45 second sets, 45 seconds of constant muscle tension. It’s the best way to grow muscles them self and endurance of them.
45 second base of sprinting then walk 45 seconds then repeat best cardio ever
Don’t even count reps. It’s a bad mindset to think “ oh i can only do so many reps, im weaker than this guy or this girl” just do as best as you can for 45 secs straight and keep tension on the targeted muscle. Stay in control of your reps and focus on the muscle you’re working
The best cardio I’ve had was the piper workout, it’s in the ones I sent, but it’s pretty much 1000 meter repeats
My cousins a DI and him and a couple of his friends came and we PT’d together. I was DEAD. After, his buddies told me that’s the hardest they’ve ever seen him IT someone. Moral- do it with someone who will push you
And if you’re going for functional fitness, don’t go heavy weight low reps, do body weight exercises with whatever equipment you expect to wear. Keep up consistency too, don’t make fucking excuses to not workout.

Yeah someone who will push you in a workout is a luxury, it may not seem like it because they’re busting your balls but they’re there to help
Make it a competition between each other
I’ll be honest. I wanted to kill him and cuss at him the entire time. But he took me, someone who could barely run a 15 min mile and after that I was 8 min miles easy
