So the Brits fought a big war to stop the French from taking their colonies

They won

It’s like the butterfly effect

But the cost was too high

One decision can make or break a country

So they increased taxes on their colonies to get back in shape

And i guess Americans just hated the idea of taxation before the US even existed

So they started to demand independence

Now it's unclear who shot the first bullet that started the war

But some suspect that it might've been the American forces

It wouldn’t surprise me if it was the muricans

And somewhere around that time the French revolution happened so goes to show how bad this war was for both Britain and France
