Iām still wondering when one of the countrys will out run America with the oil tunnels and waste out our lands
I yelled "Taiwan numba wan" in a Chinese CSGO match once
A full democracy with this population is impossible
everyone knows, america is a sociialist episcapalian monarchy
Taiwan is the capital of china
america is unironically really an elective monarchy though
not really
no
of course originally the system was elective monarchy in the germanic tribes
the normans changed that
@Svea Rike thats why canada sucks, no action is ever taken because it takes forever
that's not what a monarchy is at all
the u.s president is a monarch
@CallMeTruckson ik yeah
no?
Do you even know what a Monarchy is
the u.s president has the same role as a 17th century english king
a monarch holds much more power and is a lifelong ruler
if it was a monarchy it would consist of many other layers
as a leader?
america is actually an oligarchy
no the powers are identical
*no they are not*
@WP no they get elected and can't do whatever plus people disrespect them with out punishment
if you're saying that the american president doesn't have the powers of a monarch then you're saying that the position it is copied from, which is the king of england, isn't a monarch
the role of president is more closely modeled over the roman republic position of dictator, it's just a permanent role
it's constitutional monarchy
the president holds little means to be able to instigate major things, they require congressional approval
US presidents have a 4 years term
that is how the english system works
There can only be 2 terms
i thought i was the most annoying troll here
Yeah really
the english king required approval from the lower hosue too
you don't seem to understand the history of the u.s and its political system
The position of POTUS has really been nerfed
I don't think you do, you just said the president is a monarch despite literally not at all being one
and the funny thing is that, as iirc abraham lincoln's advisor said, while the u.s is an elective monarchy the u.k became a hereditary republic
Cough
it's just nonsensical
