china has to militarise south china sea because of aggressive actions of japan and u.s
they're militarising the prime oil tanker shipping route to protect oil imports, yes
not because of oil reserves under the south china sea, if that's what you're suggesting
they are forced to do that because of japan and u.s military threats
if china cannot defend prime oil shipping route then they can be cut off from their oil imports from the middle east, which means china would collapse... pff probably into civil war lol as they cannot defend the deep sea route
japan and u.s can intercept the deep sea route while china has basically nothing
if china doesn't secure prime route then china would be defenseless
china imports virtually all of its oil from middle east
the global market would collapse if china didn't get its oil
why all the hate for china?
@CallMeTruckson that is nothing compared to what the u.s has done
americans and other vietnamese have killed countless vietnamese people
@CallMeTruckson where do you want to start? beginning of american empire after ww2?
how has china done worse??
u.s has done far more than simply invade countries. it has been involved in and complicit in installing brutal dictatorships, major international clandestine terrorism, concentration camps, engeineered famines, ethnic cleansing that amounts to genocide
the here and now? such as u.s occupation of middle east and its wars there?
lol how has china done anything of the sort comparable to u.s?
let's start with eiseinhower. the u.s overthrew the iranian government with a military coup for u.s interests leading to suffering of iranian people and 25 years of brutal dictatorship the likes of which you complain of china for
also under eisenhower the u.s overthrew the first and last democratic government in guatemala by military coup and invasion leading to large atrocities continuing for over 50 years
in indonesia the u.s conducted major terrorist operations in trying to break up indonesia and strip off the outer islands where the resources were as indonesian democracy was a threat to u.s interests
the u.s considered indonesia too free and open and instigated military rebellion in the outer islands just for starters
and eisenhower administration the u.s blocked the political settlement in 1954 and instituted a latin american style terror state in vietnam that killed around 100,000 of its own people by the end of the eisenhower period
kennedy comes in and recognises it couldn't be controlled internally so the u.s simply invaded. in early 1960s a third of u.s bombing missions that were carried out by u.s air force but with south vietnamese insignia. u.s authorised use of napalm and began the use of chemical weapons to destroy food crops
the u.s began programs that drove literally millions of people into what amounted to concentration camps
i'm not crying, this is how the world is. you're crying about china
and it's stunning how you keep using "their own people"; as if "ethnically cleanse people in other countries? sure! but anything done to your own people? big no no!"
claiming that china is brutal compared to u.s imperialsim is laughable
china has almost nothing to their name compared to the u.s, we're just getting started
also with kennedy in cuba there was a massive campaign of what amounted to international terrorism, which almost led to **THE DESTRUCTION OF THE WORLD** with the missile crisis
we can continue and go on forever of all the offenses under kennedy
under johnson the u.s expanded the war in indochina to the piont where it ended up leaving around **3 OR 4 MILLION PEOPLE DEAD**
they invaded the dominican republic to block what looked like a potential democratic revolution, supported the israeli occupation stages leading to conflict
again we can go around the world under johnson
do we need to go over u.s under nixon???
you want to do nixon?? lol
ford was only there for a short time, but long enoguh to endorse and covertly support and instigate the indonesian invasion of east timor, which became about as close to **GENOCIDE** as anythign in the modern period
the u.s pretended to oppose it but as is now known it supported it. at the security council the u.s then joined everyone in condemning it, but the u.s ambassador has since stated his instructions were to render the UN utterly ineffective in any actions it may take to attempt to counter the indonesian invasion
and he said produdly that he did this very successfully and how that around 100,000 people were killed just in the ifrst few months and it went on to many more hundreds of thousands
the u.s continued to supply weapons and counter insurgency equipment and training and covert forces so that indonesians could consumate the invasion
that's just a short period in office with ford but that's major war crimes
next is carter as the indonesian atrocities were increasing peaking in the late 1970s and the u.s flow of weapons increased
don't you see that you were complaining about china? i never complained about u.s.a
i'm just stating the truth of the u.s.a
i didn't say that i feel that what the u.s.a did was necessarily bad
but you were acting as if you were outraged and speaking in tongues about big meanie poop china
but the reality is that the u.s.a is the aggressive global hegemon and is far more ruthless than china
then ultimately it resulted in killing around a quarter of the population
morals are for bitches
morals are just your feelings
the truth is that liberalism is a joke, china will flex its muscles as it sees that it needs to, just as the u.s.a does
@Pelth you say that as if u.s education is not full of propaganda
we're talking about a country where small children actually have to swear allegiance to a flag at school lol
@Stander the millions of people that the u.s killed is bad?
china has contributed basically nothing to the world
you always get this history channel/youtube-history bs about some ancient mystical chinese inventions and some sht but they invented nothing
99% of innovation in human history came from north-western european nations, mostly from britain
but pop history loves flaunting a few irrelevant hipster contrarian baseless crap about the ancient islamic and chinese world
china survives on the american empire
it doesn't survive on somehow imitating america lol, it is basically a part of the american empire
the middle east never invented anything of significance
the roman empire invented fuck all too
virtually all human invention happened after the collapse of the feudal system in north western europe, primarily england
the world that we live in and know is a product of a strange result in north western europe
@Pelth you're an idiot
zoom in on 0 ad
that little bump? that's the roman empire
look at the little bump
@Pelth haha you're a legitimate idiot
@Pelth the industrial revolution did not come about from "thinking to combine the parts" it came about from economic viability of mechanisation
@Pelth the roman empire could have continued for 2,000 years and they would still be more or less the same
and notice the MITI study at the bottom https://i.imgur.com/axMBgsy.jpg
54% of the world's most important inventions were british
literally MOST of the most important inventions in history were british, that's the reality of the economic viability of mechanisation
in the late middle ages and early modern age england went god damn super nova and reinvented the planet we exist upon
most of the rest of that is in northern france and the low countries
@CallMeTruckson are you an 8 year old?
so let's continue?
we were on carter
who oversaw the involvement of u.s in the genocide in indonesian invasion
we can aslo talk about the camp david agreements under carter, which were a diplomatic catastrophy
reagan was next and he was the first president to be condemned by the internatioanl court of justice for unlawful use of force meaning international toerrirsm in the war against nicaragua
@Stander strange how you were so concerned about atrocities and abuses of humans but now when we talk about u.s being the worst at it you need to leave
the security council also endorsed it in two resolutions, both of those were vetoed by the u.s
under bush firstly the invasion of panama which killed thousands of people, which was done to kidnap noriega who was their disobedient thug
he had been supported by the u.s through his worst atrocities that he committed on the cia payroll. that's aggression the invasion of panama
you could go into details of the gulf war
the u.s doesn't want much more to do with the world anymore
the u.s now has what it needs
the u.s had novels of aggression and terrorism compared to china's small list
the u.s isn't really a democracy
it's ruled by representatives
america is a recreation of the english political system
800 years old
america is unironically really an elective monarchy though
of course originally the system was elective monarchy in the germanic tribes
the normans changed that
the u.s president is a monarch
