2017-02-07 20:03:45 UTC

😛

If you can't win a war, try to soften the blow as much as you can with any deal you can strike.

2017-02-07 20:52:23 UTC

If they want a lot of money... and you have a decent amount built up, try to que up like 500 mercs... then do the deal and basically go 'I only have this much' and they'll take it... and after the deal you can cancel the recruitment and get to keep all your ducets.

2017-02-07 20:52:37 UTC

Otherwise...

2017-02-07 20:52:41 UTC

If you want to /win/ the war...

2017-02-07 20:53:04 UTC

You should try to trap big armies on smaller islands and try to use a fleet to block them off so they're trapped

2017-02-07 20:53:14 UTC

That's another thing you can try.

2017-02-07 20:53:37 UTC

Otherwise, the classical using a good general and have them attack you over a river and into a mountain works to.

2017-02-08 12:33:19 UTC

managed to finish that war by returning a few territories to the dying Ottomans

2017-02-08 12:33:25 UTC

and immediatly attacked them and got them back

2017-02-08 12:33:26 UTC

kek

2017-02-08 12:33:37 UTC

here is the progress so far

You already should have the Basileus achievement.

2017-02-08 16:22:53 UTC

just need all of this cored

2017-02-08 16:23:01 UTC

oh, I thought I needed to do the reform the empire decision

2017-02-08 16:23:05 UTC

shit this will be a lot easier

2017-02-08 16:23:08 UTC

lol

2017-02-08 16:23:14 UTC

I'm missing Crimea

2017-02-08 16:23:18 UTC

Time to call Putin

2017-02-08 16:23:44 UTC

I mean, you can go Refrom the Empire to, did you get the crazy Theme decision yet?

2017-02-08 16:23:50 UTC

yep

2017-02-08 16:24:13 UTC

Get that with Quantity Ideas and you'll out-Manpower all of Europe XD

2017-02-08 16:24:31 UTC

I'm a bit underteched atm hah

2017-02-08 16:24:34 UTC

so much adm for coring

2017-02-08 16:24:54 UTC

and mil for rebellions, I had like 5 instances of 110+ overextension

2017-02-08 16:26:02 UTC

Once you got your shit together and got Basileus, you should really hunker down and try to tech up a bit. Admin isn't all that important at the start, but Military ideas and points are exceedingly important!

2017-02-08 16:26:32 UTC

I want to reform, and have like 150 years left or so

2017-02-08 16:26:34 UTC

not sure if its doable

2017-02-08 16:26:39 UTC

it requires way too much

2017-02-08 16:26:58 UTC

Italy I could do, but to get France and Iberia as well? and then London as well

2017-02-08 16:27:28 UTC

You can use alliances, slowly get land... Or...

2017-02-08 16:27:35 UTC

You could always go the route of the Revolution

2017-02-08 16:27:48 UTC

Revolutionary Roman Empire?

2017-02-08 16:27:49 UTC

sounds legit

2017-02-08 16:27:52 UTC

lol

2017-02-08 16:28:01 UTC

They don't have a tricolor for it, so the flag will be fucking White

2017-02-08 16:30:21 UTC

I tried doing a France run before this

2017-02-08 16:30:26 UTC

couldn't go beyond 1500
