well i do, because they have never fired a gun
30 caliber clip ghost gun lmao
They also dont realize an AR15 only shoots a .22 round with more gunpowder behind it..
i never understood the logic.
"We must ban full auto"
"right, so force them to be more accurate with their bullets.... brilliant"
"we must ban pistol grips"
"so that they are forced to treat it more like a rifle and actually aim and therefore be more deadly.... brilliant"
"we must ban the evil 5.56"
"So they are forced to use the larger and more deadly 7.62 or .308... brilliant. You are trying to make things safer right?"
My AR10 is 7.62... theres no point in having something in 5.56 unless youre hunting rabbits or squirrels lol or paper
they call it a varmint round for a reason
the only reason is the lighter weight.
yeah thats how science works
lighter weight, lower recoil, flatter trajectory... but yeah, aside from weight it's *mostly* a wash
really don't get why 5.56 is the standard grunt caliber now. i guess because they can't hit shit so its mostly for suppression so why not save costs?
Because it's too obnoxious to convert everything out of the 5.56 standard short of a world war to deplete reserves
Especially after the crap the US gave NATO screwing over the British .280 in favor of .308 Winchester
no because its easy to be accurate with 5.56
also the internal ballistics of the round
it easily penetrates body armor and then bounces around from ther
there*
what it really that hard to be accurate with the m14?
i find it hard to believe accuracy was the reason when they switched from semi-auto to full-auto for all grunts
an m16 has 100 more yards of effective range and is lighter than the m14
theres a selector switch for a reason tho....
@Grenade123 M16/M4s are virtually never fired in full auto.
m4's are and m16's cant
You could replace all service rifles with semi-auto only have have no effect on squad efficacy.
Whether they are capable of burst or auto is immaterial. The setting is virtually never used.
thats not really true
during iraq and afghan full auto was definitely used often
the building to building warfare made it especially useful
the compact size of the carbine with its ability to be used in full auto made it a great tool for that warfare
I fought in Afghanistan. I stand by what I said.
ok cool. maybe for your unit or squad didnt use it but it was used
and has a place for military use

would be cool to have one of the desktop ones
can I post this here
no, because the daisy powerline 856 is an airgun and this is the firearms chat
Funny thing, my dad used to eat squirrel and rat meat.
My grandfather would hunt those for food.
