Federally yes, last I heard, but local laws may apply

2018-11-25 03:44:38 UTC

Probably best to look it up proper beforehand

2018-11-25 03:44:47 UTC

maybe phone the FFL you're planning to purchase from

2018-11-25 03:46:12 UTC

I'm not an American, much as I'd like that, so best to take my advice with a grain of salt

2018-11-25 07:21:50 UTC

Yeah, some states as long as you have ID its good.
I think some, it has to be local ID.
Some you only need local ID for private purchases

Two most messed up things in USA, drinking laws and gun laws.

Interesting design. Too bad it's probably a piece of shit.

2018-11-25 19:17:55 UTC

@Miss Direction I bought one of those a few years back for like 100 bucks lol. Kicks like a mule, but shoots on point every time. The only issue I've had with mine is a sticky bolt. Other than that, it's reliable and really fun to shoot.

2018-11-25 19:20:41 UTC

I purchased one this morning, @EndangeredProdigy. 😁

2018-11-25 19:20:56 UTC

Was yours caked in cosmoline like mine was?

2018-11-25 19:22:10 UTC

if it is, just give the metal a good mineral spirit bath and stick the wood parts in a trash bag and put the bag in a hot place to make the wood sweat the cosmoline out

2018-11-25 19:22:26 UTC

there are a few guides online that tell you how to do it

2018-11-25 19:45:53 UTC

Only reason to remove cosmoline is if you need it as personal lube

2018-11-25 19:48:06 UTC

Lol that stuff smells horrible man I couldn't handle leaving it on there any longer than a day

2018-11-25 19:49:07 UTC

This one is mine @Miss Direction

I ordered a 91/30 with a Izhevsk round receiver online this morning; it has yet to arrive, @EndangeredProdigy.

2018-11-25 20:37:06 UTC

Nice. I love that rifle and the rounds aren't too expensive if you get the surplus cans

2018-11-25 20:44:20 UTC

@EndangeredProdigy it's just meme material really, but here's mine

2018-11-25 21:39:42 UTC

How many come in that can, @EndangeredProdigy?

2018-11-25 21:40:52 UTC

500 148-grain 7.62x54r for $238~

2018-11-25 21:41:40 UTC

That was just an example of the type to get I wouldn't get it there because it's an auction. Let me find one that you can buy

2018-11-25 21:43:33 UTC

500 148-grain 7.62x54r for $225~

2018-11-25 21:44:06 UTC

Interesting I can't seem to find the spam cans anywhere

2018-11-25 21:44:17 UTC

They used to be the most popular form

2018-11-25 21:47:35 UTC

Yeah I can't find any spam cans in stock so you would be best to just get the manufactured ammo now I guess

2018-11-25 21:49:54 UTC

what is this 7.62x55r

2018-11-25 21:52:14 UTC

The Mosin-Nagant fires 7.62x54r, @Dess Dess DESS; that cartridge sports the longest military service-life of any cartridge.

2018-11-25 21:52:35 UTC
