NRA, if they had the power, probably should push or have pushed for a wrongful death case against the officer. It is not ridiculous as in more gun unfriendly states, cops treat gun owners like criminals even when legally carrying. Doing bs like demanding the weapon so they can either put it on the back of the car or even dismantle it entirely which just introduces the weapon into the situation for no reason.

So apparently in NJ they changed the magazine limit in the state from 15 to 10 and you have to destroy any 11+ round magazines you own or you're committing a felony by possessing the magazine, it has been upheld at the lower court level as constitutional too

Instead of trying to limit what guns or magazines you can own, they could try mental health programs to lower suicide rates, after school programs or internship opportunities to keep kids out of gangs, maybe even have gun education in health class to reduce accidental gun deaths

If you are anti gun you either have to somehow limit gun rights without technically infringing upon it or modify/repeal the amendment which is much more difficult than getting activist judges in the courts

Not sure about that particular incident but im not surprised, in countries with strict gun laws there's no reason not to have full auto guns for use in crime
