As side from the fact that every cop and lawyer I talked to says that a crime
1. Double barrel shotguns are more expensive than a good pump shotgun
2. Warning shots are a horrible idea and aren't legally defensible
3. You're expending both of your shells
4. Your shots are going to land somewhere after you shoot the gun into the air, and you are responsible for every single one of them

But 45 colt can be built up to have .44 magnum ballistics making it quite the versatile round
yeah i kind of looked into buying a 460 xvr, which i could have shot with somewhat cheap 45 colt as well
.45 LC and .410 Shells are often unregulated like .45ACP , 9x19, 9x17 and other military/police rounds.
