Which seems pretty standard

2019-02-21 03:24:57 UTC

with a 14.5 inch barrel no less

2019-02-21 03:25:12 UTC

Everybody should be allowed to an an M4

2019-02-21 03:25:37 UTC

back when the nfa was being challenged in court it was argued that short barreled shotguns were not in military use so the nfa was constitutional

2019-02-21 03:25:46 UTC

now NFA items are used by the military all the time

2019-02-21 03:26:21 UTC

Literally the Mk18 and short-barreled M870s are perfect examples

2019-02-21 03:27:19 UTC

about 75% of the Swiss military is Militia Regiments, every member has their complete kit including their STG in their home.

2019-02-21 03:29:06 UTC

A TO&E for a militia member should include a Moderine intermediate carbine (AR-15/ AKpattern or simular) web gear to carry at least 6 magazines, and a stock of ammo for the magazines

2019-02-21 03:30:31 UTC

Right.

2019-02-21 03:30:49 UTC

This solves the "but should every citizen be allowed to own nukes??" problem

2019-02-21 03:31:12 UTC

ie. You can argue a reasonable limit

2019-02-21 03:31:28 UTC

the most insane part of the NFA has to be the shot barreled rifles/shotguns part especially considering you can have handguns just fine
a long barrel is not required for many guns, for home defense(one of the biggest points of the 2nd amendment right now) a shorter barrel is ideal

2019-02-21 03:32:08 UTC

iirc the NFA was originally going to have pistols too, the goal was to make any easy to conceal weapons hard to get

2019-02-21 03:33:05 UTC

and then you're allowed to just ignore the NFA when it comes to stuff like the c96 with a stock or the tankgewehr(destructive device)

2019-02-21 03:33:46 UTC

Also

2019-02-21 03:34:02 UTC

People bring full-sized ARs into classrooms to fire at people width

2019-02-21 03:34:23 UTC

People don't need it to be shorter in order to hurt people

2019-02-21 03:34:25 UTC

The idea is that a "Handgun" as per the NFA is meant to be a one handed firearm for use in close for protection, a legitimate use. Things like the C96 where you stuck a stock on them meant they became Pistol Caliber Carbines... but all the oldies like the C96 are on the Except roster

2019-02-21 03:35:05 UTC

Didn't the vegas dude use 20" barrel ARs?

2019-02-21 03:35:16 UTC

Literally find me the incident where people used SBRs

2019-02-21 03:36:12 UTC

i'm sure non sbrs are used for mass shootings because they're easier to buy, you could chop off the barrel but there's no real advantage to be had for doing that

2019-02-21 03:36:24 UTC

plus there's the gas system and threaded barrel to worry about

2019-02-21 03:36:29 UTC

The only SBRs used in crimes have been unregistered use by criminals who chopjobed them by themselves

2019-02-21 03:36:46 UTC

or put a stock on a "pistol" probably

2019-02-21 03:37:07 UTC

Not even that @Grovyle

2019-02-21 03:37:39 UTC

All the stock kicks for hand guns now a days have "This is an NFA Item" on the box

2019-02-21 03:40:03 UTC

Gross

2019-02-21 03:40:08 UTC

I mean those braces are great

2019-02-21 03:40:36 UTC

and should actually be a good example of "stocks" not being an issue

2019-02-21 03:41:32 UTC

I use a cane and the PDW Pistol Brace is useful to me to get more control for using the firearm as a pistol while I use the cane in the other hand

2019-02-21 03:42:33 UTC

Iunno

2019-02-21 03:42:45 UTC

I just got my WASR-10 and I'm eyeing that right now

2019-02-21 03:42:53 UTC

it feels like a sin to upgrade

2019-02-21 03:43:00 UTC

The wooden AK just feels like a classic

2019-02-21 03:43:55 UTC

Anti-gunners are the type of people you wouldn't want to drink a beer with I swear

2019-02-21 03:43:56 UTC

Do you want a picture of mine @Deagle ?

2019-02-21 03:44:01 UTC

Sure

2019-02-21 03:44:22 UTC

Anti-gunners are just the essence of fun-killing and mommying
