Ok, when I was in High-School we focused on Civil Rights /once/ and that was in senior year when you could understand Civil Rights.. all the years prior in English class we studied classical English, read into the Odyssey and Iliad... We even at one time did a report over the Norse Sagas...

And over time.. they just began to focus more and more on civil rights..
