I really hate that meme. It's pretending to be a d&d meme, but 20 is only a critical on **attack rolls**, not skill checks, not attribute rolls, not resistance rolls, nor anything like that. An impossible task (where the TN is more than your skill+20) remains impossible
I hate it not just because the meme is stupid, but because newbies drag it to the table insisting it's a thing. "I can still roll to convince the guard I'm innocent, and that the blood dripping off my hands is just raspberry jam xDDD"

what happened with a drone
I was wondering that as well
some guy flew a drone over gatwick airport for hours and stopped loads of flights from being able to land or leave the airport
if they had guns they'd have been able to shoot it down
but no
yeah they had no plan to stop the drone
they would normally have waited it out for a half hour or so until the battery died but he had extra battery packs or kept recharging
