@Throttles how is that not being against metaphysics? He would say the field is meaningless, right

2020-01-26 09:32:44 UTC

@JesusHand Legitimate in that it comes from the people it's said to come from and accurately represents the events it claims to represent

2020-01-26 09:32:58 UTC

Ok so they have proof of the Flood

2020-01-26 09:33:03 UTC

And Moses separating the water

2020-01-26 09:33:09 UTC

How do they have proof of those events

2020-01-26 09:33:22 UTC

The field is meaningless but that wouldn't be against metaphysics, rather just apathetic towards it.

2020-01-26 09:33:32 UTC

@Stresbal theism doesn't come from the Bible

2020-01-26 09:34:13 UTC

What is theism?

2020-01-26 09:34:21 UTC

that's not why any theologian in a time like the 1300s would argue that

2020-01-26 09:34:25 UTC

Yes okay

2020-01-26 09:35:04 UTC

the jews were there earlier

2020-01-26 09:35:09 UTC

@Throttles you're trolling

2020-01-26 09:35:11 UTC

You should cite the SEP or IEP for the definition of theism and not the dictionary

2020-01-26 09:35:13 UTC

I mean they had there belief earlier

2020-01-26 09:35:17 UTC

@Deleted User bruh I'm not lol

2020-01-26 09:35:36 UTC

@JesusHand we would practice Catholicism. Without the Bible Catholicism would still work epistemically. It can still define things as being true or false without the Bible (though the bible is still important)

2020-01-26 09:35:48 UTC

Trolling is lame

2020-01-26 09:35:51 UTC

This isn't even from me, I was talking to a Wittgensteinian and she cleared up the misunderstanding herself

2020-01-26 09:36:04 UTC

Catholicism is the worst of the Cristian religions

2020-01-26 09:36:05 UTC

@Stresbal The hebrews believed in that earlier yes

2020-01-26 09:36:21 UTC

2020-01-26 09:37:21 UTC

2020-01-26 09:37:34 UTC

I just said that belief in God didn't come from the Bible

2020-01-26 09:38:05 UTC

2020-01-26 09:38:11 UTC

2020-01-26 09:38:13 UTC
