I still think the number of females on the internet is grossly underestimated by males. Perhaps because male and female interest divides so much

the only example of women trying to pass as males for a long time, are those that are very good at competing. But those are a rarety. I would say that most women online usually say they are women, or that it becomes obvious after a while.

i think males underestimate the number of females inhabiting the internet, often along side them. I.E. here on discord.

or in videogames

you might encounter MMO players who have encounter few females, then take them to a part of the game they don't care about, and suddenly they are surrounded with more females than they though even played the game.
