anime movie or western movie?
my favorite is from 2009
Western movies
i don't watch many of those lmao
i am so behind on western movies
animated movies are underrepresented in what comes over here from japan
If you like isekai, I recommend Log Horizon and Overlord.
that i watched watchmen for the first time last week
But even they're overridden with some tropes.
anime that specifically aim to break boundaries and attempt to me more experimental, ironically making them more"Western"
The Watchmen movie is so close to being good
tropes arnt a bad thing
Bad tropes are.
perhaps
I specifically mean things like clueless male characters who have no idea chicks are flirting with him.
my best friend was killed by a trope
And when they do stupid and cringey bullshit.
eh thats an old trope
It's an old bad trope.
Anime has some of the worst cliches in existence.
so i don't see a whole lot of that
the only slice of life I've seen is squid girl
and when i do i watch the shit that toes the line super hard
tenchi muyo wasent bad, the first one wasent bad
I usually like isekais, where that bullshit seems rampant.
So I guess I do it to myself.
asobi asobase is best SoL
and i don't like isekai anime except for overlord
and the one this season that's very obviously trying to be an overlord ripoff with the fanservice turned up to 11
what's the appeal of Overlord, other than lizard sex?
The only good isekai I've seen is SAO Abridged
but that's just cuz i find that level of excessive fanservice funny
Super overpowered main characters beating the fuck out of really shitty people.
have you watched it cwow?
I like how the butler just decapitates a criminal organization in five seconds.
Literally.
i heard claymore was good but i never watched it
Claymore was kinda weird.
Gal Tensei is a somewhat interesting isekai parody manga. It's about some self obsessed high school girls ending up in the RPG world
