I actually limit my round count to five rounds per magazine so I don't waste ammo

someone who intends on doing a mass shooting can just as easily kill 20 people with a 5 round magazine or a 30 round magazine

so this isn't a problem with magazines

also that shows the difference between 5.56 and 7.62

that sks could be reloaded with clips or magazines

a clip can be easily made

to hold around 10 rounds

sks's are also considerably cheaper than the average ar 15

and just so you know

both magazines hold a maximum capacity of 30 rounds

there is a big difference between 5.56 and 7.62 in size

Having to reload your mag still gives people time to react

everything helps

a magazine reload takes less than half a second

this guy has ten years of practice but it shows it's very much possible to get to that proficiency

But everything helps

even without training reloading still takes less than 3 seconds

it would make no appreciable difference

you know what would make a difference

someone can take him down in 3 secs

an armed well trained populace
