but I found it hillarious
da fuq is GoG doing? They do free game giveaways to users from time to time (literally 1 click if you have the client installed), but it's usually older titles, "low-price high-value" indies, or slav games in the $5-10 range. Now they're giving away Shadow Warrior 2, a 2016 release with solid reviews, and it's still a $40 game on Steam, don't think I've seen it below $20 or maybe $15
I mean, obviously it's advertisement so here I am shilling and doing their job for them, but I have a hard time making sense of how this investment is supposed to work on their end.
