and are now supporting other virtual youtubers
the subbers dropped support or the company dropped support for subbers
the subbers dropped support
kk
the company never helped in any way
what, is Kizuna too controversial or what am I missing
they are getting too greedy
i mean shes just a channel, most big label games these days have leagues of technically unpaid people doing moderation etc sidework for them... sucks that company (i didn't understand how exactly) went against the subbers tho
it's not "she"
it's a whole company
was "she" always a company or is this a development after she became popular, i never understood that part of the story
she's doing CMs, voice acting, manga, merch, etc
I mean, how could they help? In this case, I see it no different from fansubbing in the 00s or before. Barring the company bitching at the subbers (which they did apparently) then I wouldn't really think the company should be obligated out of anything besides a bunch of "thank you's" etc
(((she)))
nah, the company was really small at first
the only problem here is that they don't respect fans in any way
where can one read more about this
I guess my question would be does that apply to the moonies too
b/c 11s not caring about western fans is like, a tradition over there xD
the subbers got her videos subbed in 1 hour, in both her channels
a "thank you" at least would be nice
but they came out aggressive towards them
At least that. But man, that is stupid. Never insult your audience should be Business 101 shit
I only know about this because I'm part of her (unofficial) discord server
there are still subbers that will do the job. But all the admins stopped their support
they can't see the company as anything but shallow
specially because her international community is huge because of them
To an extent, it feels like that any business focused around viritual youtubers would be shallow
well.. not necessarily
this is some basic stuff, they only needed to be thankful for their fanbase
True, I guess, in that it's "anime grils" and a lot of the anime studios, LN publishers, VN developers, etc are all about $$$ by way of otaku pandering. Though you don't really see outright shitting on fans there
it's just the basic "you shouldn't forget where you started and who got you there"
everyone is ok with the business deals and expanding the "brand"
Fair point, there
evil genius plot
very
I'm so confused!
So are they
