I am wondering how conscious it is though. Do the relevant people actually think "where can i get me some super low status people?" -which i doubt - or what are the articulated perspectives/incentives they really have
I also think dismissing all leftist views on morality is not as justified as you portrayed it. Seems like the easy way out. A fundamental drive for the left is wanting to genuinely care for people who need it. Its not entirely about ways to gain power
