Based Coronavirus

2020-03-26 15:44:08 UTC

I'm starting to warm up to our girl C-chan not gonna lie.

2020-03-26 15:53:51 UTC

I’ve warmed up to her a while ago

2020-03-26 16:16:12 UTC

🤔 👍

2020-03-26 16:34:34 UTC

Unrelated question, are the MREs worth the money?

2020-03-26 16:40:20 UTC

@Korin Dickman each one is a days worth of calories if you're not doing much of any activity

2020-03-26 16:58:56 UTC

You’re probably better off buying larger bulk items

The quality has increased IMMENSELY in recent years but the cost is waaaay too high. Also their shelf life isnt great.

2020-03-26 17:04:20 UTC

They are quite expensive, yes.

2020-03-26 17:57:19 UTC

MREs are for soldiers, plant a garden instead.

2020-03-26 17:57:58 UTC

Not good for stocking up cost wise

2020-03-26 17:58:32 UTC

Better to get cheaper stuff like rice but a variety of things

2020-03-26 17:59:18 UTC

@McFansy not feasible at the moment (filthy urbanite and current situation).

2020-03-26 17:59:35 UTC

grow houseplants and herbs

2020-03-26 17:59:49 UTC

water sun and soil

2020-03-26 18:00:43 UTC
2020-03-26 18:00:46 UTC

I could try, alright.

2020-03-26 18:03:51 UTC

We have something similar. If pandemic blows over I might try to find one of these for rent. Right now some simple potted plants/herbs are easier to start growing.

2020-03-26 18:06:48 UTC

return to tradition

2020-03-26 18:09:32 UTC

I'm trying little by little.

2020-03-26 18:11:25 UTC

Finishing Uni being first the most important step. Getting away from this clique as far as I can.

2020-03-26 18:14:25 UTC

I believe in you! Grow some Mint!

2020-03-26 18:14:43 UTC

I have a lot of mint

2020-03-26 18:14:46 UTC

The landlord fears the indoor gardener.

2020-03-26 18:17:14 UTC

mint is an incredible plant. 10/10 would suggest to new growers

2020-03-26 18:17:26 UTC

def don't do this

2020-03-26 18:17:38 UTC

Mint is a weed and will go everywhere

2020-03-26 18:17:45 UTC

however I am stuck with it now

2020-03-26 18:19:07 UTC

you have to prune vigorously. Also it helps keep away some bugs.

2020-03-26 18:19:43 UTC

I keep a small section in my strawberries.

2020-03-26 18:21:17 UTC

Ah, mint.

2020-03-26 18:21:33 UTC

Good smelling but a bugger when removing it.

2020-03-26 18:21:34 UTC

Raise chickens

2020-03-26 18:21:39 UTC

Nah, Cattle.

2020-03-26 18:21:46 UTC

Cattle are expensive

2020-03-26 18:21:51 UTC

Huge overhead

2020-03-26 18:22:00 UTC

From my experince.

2020-03-26 18:22:03 UTC

Not so much.
