I actually have a theory that the main reason nationalism is gaining popularity in America is the European migrant crisis. Most white normies were totally fine with American status quo immigration rates because they had in the back of their heads that Europe would stay a vast-majority-white zoo that they could visit, and maybe even escape to should worst come to worst.

They may be fine with Social Security and Medicare, which is funny because that's not libertarian but once you say “We need a powerful state that would fix university curriculum which is dominated by leftism, promote the nuclear family through monetary and social incentives, and to end immigration”, they might have the reaction of “Whoa whoa. Settle down there. You don’t need to pay for other people's children. That's socialism and when I was in my 20s, raising a family was cheap and college is a ripoff anyway. Also, we need LEGAL immigration, just not illegal immigration!” **
