No mass movement would exists without the proper conditions that would make many desire for radical change, Coronavirus may be bad but it is only making people want their consumer goods back instead of ending consumerist liberalism itself.
But we'd have a better chance if we focused more on rational discourse as opposed to the same "mUh nAtiOn" or "mUh pEoPLe" bullshit
i'm 38 so i dont give a fuck, but understand your position
@Sirens fair enough
I mean... nationalism is by definition "muh nation" and "muh people"
so thats a tough sell to most
Do you think non-nationalists will care about our feelings for our nations?
yeah who actually cares about nation. thats pretty cringe and bluepilled
@Techpriest of house Roundeye well that's true
the nation is where its at look at the SNP or MAGA campaigns they used nationalism successfully
so to say its dosent work isnt correbt
6 Sources of Power:
- Force
- Wealth
- Law
- Norms
- Ideas
- People
I think nationalism might become normalized in a few years
the SNP in Scotland used nationalism and bootstrapped it with SJW ideology after the fact
But if we want to argue for immigration or trade restrictions, we'd be better off tackling the economic issues that people actually give a shit about
as opposed to just "mUh nAtiOn bRo"
@Minister of Propaganda well yeah but would that be ideal for us or Liberal forces?
@ManDefault36 I think we can do both
Economics is one of the most heavily debated things in Nationalism
I know I sound like an enlightened centrist but yeah
> @Minister of Propaganda well yeah but would that be ideal for us or Liberal forces?
@RIP Skelly no idea
to combat economic issues is trade restrictions
@Techpriest of house Roundeye Not really within the reactionary sphere. Nobody engages much with econ
you need to push the nationalist message like trump did, like brexit did
I am one of the few Reactionaries who cares about understanding material conditions
Our movement needs to be 2 faced, basically
think about it this way the current globalism model is under pressure due to corona. Corona might be the force required to push economic reform on nations that can actually do that ie. accelerating automation
its about the economy, the idea of post economic thinking wont go anywhere
One narrative to the working class, the other to the bourgeoisie and msm
Cornoa is a short term victory for nationalism, longer term will be more damaging.
The 20th Century is long gone, a working labor movement is practically nonexistent.
automation should be one of the biggest nightmares for any reactionary
Automation is about high skilled jobs
I certainly hope that Covid-19 will result in more nationalists
And I think it will
>thinking thats a good thing
Automation could be good if we go accelerationist
The Covid-19 pandemic shows how fucked up globalist interconnectedness is
@ManDefault36 I have a belief that the destruction of Global Supply chains mixed with the fact many people still wants consumer goods will result in more pressures for more self-sufficient automated solutions for cheap production of goods and services.
Which is not very good for one's culture, may heighten hedonism.
Yea, the coronavirus has had a silver lining for us
