Like I was pretty vocal about gay rights 10-15 years ago, and now that that's pretty well established I'd like to conserve that as it is.
But yeah I'd say he has a sizable conservative audience, but I think a lot of that is just that you don't hear from conservatives much in most parts of the internet
As for the people here the main commonality seems to be anti-authoritarianism but I'd say there's a fair amount of diversity aside from that
Well I am for sure a centrist
Got the political compass test to prove it
I myself am a rather acceptive social liberal, so I'm kind of pissed with the lack of objectivity and political diversity with the left nowadays. I'm just iritated with their lack of interesit in centrist and conservative opinions. I see few of them in centrist yt videos
I am an offensive moderate, I offend everyone
As a centrist i respect klan's ability to offend everyone
and I see more on the conservative side on centrist videos, which iritates me, the left is supposed tio be diverse
Today that commitment to diversity appears to be skin deep

My propasal on how to stop "Gun Violence", Every student has to take a firearms safety class. DNC-OH NO YOU ARE TEACHING KIDS TO USE GUNS! GOP-OH NO, YOU ARE MANDATING EDUCATIONS! Libertarians- OH NO, MORE TAX PAYER FUNDED CRAP!
The problem stems from the fact that the left started assuming they had the moral high ground
this is because for a very long while they did have the moral high ground
Last big issue they made a push for was LGBT rights
so as a result they tried
the moral high ground? and ended up being shallow and actually authoritarian
Well they did get a large base from that
after all i dont think people here would argue that you should not be able to marry a legal adult of the same sex if they consent
Then intersectionality got introduced to them
Yeah, I think the closest thing to arguing that you'd see here is that some would say the government should have no place in marriages
I think marriage is just not really that important
When you say dont care you mean you're against it or you dont consider it an issue?
I mean I just dont consider
it an issue as much
ah, gotcha
as other lgbt things
```As for the people here the main commonality seems to be anti-authoritarianism```
Naa, I'm pretty authoritaon on one or two issues...
Considering in the US at least that marriage has monetary benefits associated I'd consider it a big deal that gay people should be able to marry the people they want
Intersectionality basically says that you should help people with their issues even if you dont know anything about them
Thank god I come from Ireland, it's probably the most politicaly diverse and acceptive western countryin europe I know of
Aside from it just being a moral issue that people should have equal rights of course
Now you have a bunch of people who have literally no knowledge about political events or processes and no reason to do what they do save for the moral superiority they had when they were campaigning for LGBT rights trying to persuade people about other issues
Thus emotional/moral arguments become the norm when you try to mobilize the base into action
That's just kind of the issue with progressivism being so ingrained in the left. It's always a forward motion. Once you achieve your goal you have to find a new one or you lose a lot of your purpose
It's amusing because most of the actual people who paint themselves as, "progressive," only recently started accepting gays and such
*points at Hillary*
And those who really did just care about the issues rather than making a career out of them are then going to drop out of the race leaving behind the crazies and the inexperienced
*coughs* Bernie Sanders
Theres other problems too, now that your base assumes they have the moral high ground and feel that what they're doing is right you have everything you need from them
