at least in America
Lol@girls do this all the time in my@dms
So annoying haha
You can't have something like that rise with the dead weight weighing you down
you deal with the majority of them afterwards
Hitler had to wait to manage the SA
Ustase dealt with people immediately
Franco killed off a lot of people in the civil war
also it's important to recognize that the united states has such a strong bond with its history and constitution
meaning most people are going to want to reform it; not do away with half of it
That goes away when push comes to shove
radical reformism is the way to go
we dont want to remove the constitution
just simply reframe the goals the way they were meant to be
Can't reform a system that just bars you from taking part of it from the get go
Basically all fascist parties get banned
"all men are created equal' really means all men have the potential of equality of opportunity in order to allow for the truly hierarchically gifted to prevail
the amendments
Besides people would do away with the constitution in a heartbeat if they had to
not true nationalist americans
If people had to actually fight to survive they wouldn't care about enlightenment values
Not true patriots but they don't really exist
parts of the enlightenment weren't liberalistic
there were several strains
I know
particularly hobbes
I'm talking about liberalism
liberalists just interpret the constitution in a way that fits their ends
People don't care about ideology that much when they need to fight to survive is my point
The constitution is just a piece of paper, it's only meaning is the meaning people ascribe to it
depends on how you look at it
im a strict constructionst who believes the constitution needs to be maintained for its original purposes
the constitution is a set of commandments rather than interchangable parts
But that's still irrelevant to how other people see it though
Your average person would choose to live over retaining constitutional values
that's how liberal enlightenment thinkers saw it; and it's the wrong philosophy to live by
that will change as time goes on
It's like if you put 300 people on a stranded Island, they wouldn't care about rules say if no one can enforce them
people will eventually see liberty for what it truly is instead of some made up idea of "I can do whatever the hell i want under the guise of freedom"
