Because eventually countries would realize what america is doing

Form an alliance against them to defend themselves

It wouldn't be straight up ground war because it wouldn't be as effective against certain countries so it would need to be done a certain way

Other countries in Europe, Asia or Africa see this and either cancel trade with America

Also if that happened I expect a Canadian American alliance
